So sorry to hear about the passing of Linda.. Our prayers n love n support are with Vic.. May she ride the trike in peace and always on Vics shoulder

Linda Ann Whitfield
Chesapeake - Linda Ann Whitfield, 60, of Chesapeake, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a native of the Deep Creek section of Chesapeake. Linda was retired from Ford Motor Company, Norfolk Assembly Plant after 31 years.
Survivors include her husband Vernon "Vic" Whitfield; a daughter, Lori A. Gelinas and husband William "Chip"; a son, Robert C. Yates and wife Ryan; a grandson, Noah.
Linda's life will be celebrated at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 15, at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
