Well the 2013 riding season is officially off and running here....
This past weekend which was mother's day.. Rusty our fearless leader..lmbo decided we were going to go to Colonial beach... The weather was kinda touchy.. Sat it was cloudy and kept wanting to rain.. so I thought yep putting rain gear on just in case.. When we got over the mountain to meet Liz n Burton n Kenny n Debbie... I saw I was not the only one in rain gear..lol... We did hit a few sprinkles but God opened up the blue skies n warm sunshine n we made it just fine.. We stayed at the Wakefield Hotel.... the rooms were clean very nice staff... Bathroom was a weeeeee bit small..lol but hey we made do... had a nice lunch at Lenny's Restaurant and went for a ride we went to Wilkerson's for supper.. I was kinda disappointed in them this year..it's almost $30.00 n $50.00 if you want crab legs plus they did not have that much on their buffet.... We really didn't care we were just having fun......We got a late start Sun. morning coming home and like a bunch of crazy's as we are.. we all forgot to bring warm gear ( T don't this sound familiar)...lol I thought I would be ok with a Tshirt, sweat jacket n Sweatshirt.. lol WRONGGGGGG by the time I got to Fredricksburg I felt like a icecube..lol but we toughed it out.. We had a break down close to culpeper... poor Rusty's throttle cable broke... thank goodness Walmart was close by....We got him up n running.. Kenny hollering he's hungry as usual..lol Liz told him he had to wait till they got home..lol We all took off.. Burton n Kenny and their lovely ladies took a right when we took a left n went up to catch 522.... Rusty, Irving ,William(Irvin's Grandson) and Bubby and I all headed home..We got home around 3:00.. but shoot if they woulda said come on we going back I'd been right there with them..lol Only thing missing on our trip was Rob n T..but hey there's more adventures coming for sure,..... So looks like this is Story number 1 for us with plenty more to come..lol Thanks Rusty for putting up with everything n everybody n all the picking we did..lol
