and if you haven't heard it from burton and liz their flywheel and starter gears got grinded up. so they parked on hills all weekend to pop the clutch to start it
Okay amy, here you go vic, linda and myself took off friday am, stopped at cracker barrel again in graham for lunch, pulled into morganton quality inn (renamed from holiday inn) around 5, got the trikes unhooked and decided to ride to fairgrounds even though vic and I were worn out. most already left for valdese cruise-in but a group was leaving, so vic and i decided to ride over there with them for the ride, then rode back to quality inn, hung out in the parking lot with a large group from bristol va, think d & d trike shop, we might get nother chapter started, we'll see.
saturday rode to fairgrounds and got it started, no one could understand nine on the mic with his muffly voice, so he hot vic to announce the door prize numbers and then somehow got vic to announce every hour, yep vic threw in a little good humor and got everyone smiling, plenty of kids there, probably more locals than the last four years put together, did games, trike rides, people games, etc. I won the 50/50 saturday, instead of donating it back, i decided to wait and buy more tickets sunday and put it back that way while raising the pot for sunday. vic, linda, vic's brother and wife and I went to haborinn for seafood and steak that night. sunday was slow day and peaceful, fried chicken banquet, potatoes, greens beans, salad and roll and choclate cake, yum yum, everybode just hung around and cleaned up. stayed sunny the whole time. one of the 50/50 tickets I bought sunday and gave away to the hope house kids won the 50/50 for sunday, he was happy. during the trophies and final raffles and such, there was a little dedication to teresa. sunday I hopped on the trike to load it up, but needed another ride, so i went down and said alot of goodbyes, then we loaded up and heading towards home, stopped for lunch at sagebrush with vic's brother and wife. yum yum

I'm back and safe but ALL is not well. there was a car wreck on 540 and it was raining and the "lookie loos" were doing their thang so all of a sudder everybody was slaming on brakes and I wound up getting hit in the rear. thats right, my baby got hit!!! lol, I dont think its too bad, I gotta get it up on the lift to fully check it out but it got the rear bumper & exhaust for sure & tore a fender off the trailer. hit it hard enough to knock the front end off the trailer so I dont know if the tubes or tree is bent or not. anyway, we still had fun............nuff said
Not much to tell this year. Vic and Bruce were the only Coastal members to show up. And you know how we are, no problems from us. We were "perfect angels the entire weekend.

Well dang it woman I told ya'll come on over.. We're all goin to church in the morning then comin back to Breeden Acre and gonna have a great day.. Me n Gwen are cookin up a storm.. Got Ribs, n deer meat , n seafood salad n all kinda goodies... Got plenty of room thats for sure Hugggggggs
But we sure do miss our NC family too. just dont seem right without our yearly trip to Sagebrush ya know. We miss u guys
Looks like we won't make it to the ECTI this year. All the prep work was done, truck ready, camper ready and Robs eyelid gets infected. By the time we got to the dr., Friday was shot and we decided it wasn't worth all the effort to go if we couldn't have the whole time with our NC family. Hope we have better luck next year. We will miss you guys. Now I guess we'll stay home and work dang it!!

Glad I'm not the only one countin down. I got one more event to go to before then to break the boredom. NC State H.O.G. Rally. Will get to see Susan and Jamie there I hope. Yaw have a great weekend !!!
Hate to say this.. but Bubby and I won't be makin it this year.. We are gonna miss being with our family.. make sure ya get plenty of pics and share lots of hugggs
